ABOUT HOMEWARD
Jessica has rejoined guitarist Lachie Robertson in their new original project – HOMEWARD.
Their songwriting reflects decades of performing together, shaped by a shared upbringing in Tasmania. Blending country and pop influences, HOMEWARD delivers a sound that is both country and contemporary.
The band features Kit Riley on bass and drums (Ross Wilson / Badloves), who is also the recording engineer and producer of all HOMEWARD tracks.
Throughout 2025 and 2026, HOMEWARD has supported renowned artists including Wendy Matthews, Ross Wilson, Deborah Conway, and The B# Big Band at Birds Basement. Fans can stay up to date with upcoming live performances via their social media channels.
Their debut single, Before I Found You, is out now on all major music platforms. Upcoming releases, I Don’t Need Your Love and The One, are set to follow soon, with a full 10-track album scheduled for release in 2026.

JMR draws influences from RnB, Jazz, and old school Soul and Funk, with influences such as Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Joss Stone, Chaka Khan, Esperanza Spalding and H.E.R. Her voice is both soulful and powerful - she has a unique tone that is guaranteed to surprise you.
ORIGINAL EP: JMR - Jessica McPherson Riley - has partnered with renowned Writer/Producer Phil Turcio (‘Signals’ 2016, mixed by Dave Weckl) to release a powerful new EP, with singles, 'The Heart' (released July 2024), ‘All My Love’ (title track), ‘I Can Feel You’, 'World Ballad' and 'All I Ever Wanted'. ALL OUT NOW via ALL music platforms. To tantalise listeners, the EP has 6 singles that are being slow released via all online music platforms, including Spotify and Apple Music.
The remaining singles will be released, this year.
In addition to her original music releases, JMR is also an established live vocalist who performs every weekend. She has performed internationally and throughout Australia.
